Closing ceremony of the students of 12 Chemistry 2

On the morning of Monday, May 22 2021, the closing ceremony for the 2020-2021 school year of teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted took place successfully online. Although this was the first time it was held in this form, the long period of online learning made it possible for the closing ceremony to go smoothly without any difficulties.

Even though it was held online with more comfortable conditions, the closing ceremony of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted still maintained its solemnity. The ceremony still took place like any other years: saluting the flag, summarizing the school's achievements in the past school year, summarizing academic achievements, discipline, extracurricular activities for each class and arranging teaching and learning plans for the next school year (2021-2022).

With the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, last school year, teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted took the initiative to adjust to the situation, raise awareness and make efforts to overcome difficulties to successfully finish the school year. Although the learning and training process is more difficult than usual, that has never been the reason why Ams students stop trying their best. In 2020-2021, the school's students have constantly cultivated, trained and improved their skills academically and participated in extracurricular activities, continuing the tradition of good teaching and learning that generations of teachers and students had left behind.

However, for students in grade 9 and grade 12, the online school year review session left them feeling regretful and sad when they did not have the opportunity to meet and say goodbye to friends who have been with them for a long time. They were not able to go to school in the first half of the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year and the 2020-2021 school year, and now had to bid farewell to the school without having a chance to say goodbye properly. This is a huge disadvantage that we cannot overcome in the current epidemic situation.

Despite the disadvantage, the 12th graders of Chemistry 1 still made the closing ceremony fun using software to wear the graduation caps.

After all, the End of School Year 2020 - 2021 of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted took place successfully, ending a memorable school year for teachers and students. There are only a few days left when the entrance exam on October 10 and the high school graduation exam of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will occur, and we hope that the students of the capital in general and the Ams School in particular will achieve what they wanted.
