Awarding curators and students selected for the national team attending the International Olympiad 2021
During the assembly on Monday (12/04/2021), at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the gifted, the award ceremony for students and curators of the national team attending the International Olympiad, along with students who accomplished achievements in the Graphic Design Competition ACA and the National Science and Technology competition, has been held in a delightful atmosphere, with attendance of Doan Hong Nam - President of the Education Organization IIG Vietnam.
Surpassing hundreds of students from 36 different counties, 6 students from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School has been selected for the national team attending the International Olympiad 2021 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. With a view to acclaiming and providing the team with the best morale for the upcoming competition, teacher Tran Thuy Duong - Party Committee Secretary and Principal - has proceeded to award the students and curators.

The team consists of Meritorious Teacher Bui Van Phuc - Vice Principal and curator, Teacher Le Manh Cuong - Teacher in charge of the Physics team - with 3 students attending the Asian Physics Olympiad 2021: Nguyen Manh Quan - 12 Physics 1, Tran Quang Vinh - 12 Physics 1, Nguyen Hoang Nam - 12 Physics, Teacher Nguyen Hong Hai - Teacher in charge of the Chemistry team - with 2 students attending the International Chemistry Olympiad: Nguyen Duy Anh - 12 Chemistry 1, Nguyen Le Thao Anh - 12 Chemistry 1, Teacher Nguyen Trung Quan - Teacher in charge of the Mathematics teams - with student Do Bach Khoa - 12 Math 1 attending the International Mathematics Olympiad 2021.

After that, the school welcomed Doan Hong Nam - President of the Education Organization IIG Vietnam, representative of ETS Vietnam - along with other IIG representatives who have visited and delivered a speech. In his speech, Doan Hong Nam expressed the honor on IIG Vietnam’s part to have aided Hanoi - Amsterdam High School not only in providing educational programs, ability assessments and educational facilities but also in consulting international competitions and projects.

After Doan Hong Nam’s speech, representatives of Draft & Graph club from Ha Noi - Amsterdam High School were awarded after attending the Graphic Design competition ACA, especially Hoang Thi Khanh Linh from 10 History who achieved junior second place.
To close the ceremony, teacher Tran Thuy Duong, on behalf of the school, has offered gifts and thank-you letters to the Education Organization IIG for their cooperation in providing the school’s staff and students with opportunities to compete in an international environment. Teacher Tran Thuy Duong has also expressed the school’s desire to continue their cooperation in competitions and projects in the future.
